Batavus en KOGA, twee toonaangevende merken van Accell Group (Accell), zijn op 4 maart 2025 in de prijzen gevallen bij de RAI Fiets Awards 2025. De onafhankelijke vakjury prees de onder andere de goede rijeigenschappen van de KOGA E-F3 6.0 en de Batavus Senz Active Exclusive.

Vandaag heeft Annemarie Jorritsma, voorzitter van de raad van commissarissen van Accell Group (Accell), het nieuwe KOGA Experience Center in Heerenveen geopend. KOGA, één van de unieke merken in het portfolio van Accell, heeft 50 jaar historie en staat bekend om zijn handgemaakte fietsen van topkwaliteit. Het KOGA Experience Center maakt de productie, inclusief het vakmanschap achter het merk, en de geschiedenis van de KOGA fietsen toegankelijk voor het publiek.

Heerenveen, the Netherlands - Accell Group (Accell) is pleased to announce that its recapitalisation process has now been fully completed, resulting in a rightsized financial structure for the future. The sanction hearing in the English court on 23 January 2025, at which the court sanctioned the recapitalisation following the agreement that Accell reached with the majority of its financial stakeholders in October 2024, was the final step before today’s finalisation. Accell’s debt is now reduced to approximately €800 million in the operating group.

Heerenveen, the Netherlands – Accell Group (Accell), a leading European manufacturer of bicycles, bicycle parts and accessories, today announces that Jonas Nilsson, Accell’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), will become CEO of Accell. Jonas succeeds Tjeerd Jegen, who is stepping down and will transition to Chair of the Group’s Supervisory Board. Annemarie Jorritsma, the current Chair of the Supervisory Board, will become Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board following Tjeerd’s appointment.
